For me, truth is the sovereign principle, which includes numerous other principles" - Mahatma Gandhi
Gandhi is not a name but an idea that incorporates the feelings of struggle, nationalism, and sacrifice. St. Raphael House conducted a special assembly on Gandhi Jayanti, commemorating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Indian nation. The assembly was a beautiful depiction of Gandhian principles of non-violence, truth, and honesty, aiming towards the transformation of society through an amalgamation of enactment, dance, and singing, followed by the Dandi March. During the assembly, the staff and the students also took a pledge to work towards the cause of swachhata as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi and propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Mahatma Gandhi’s humane philosophy and inherent spirituality have a profound influence on Xavierians. The assembly was a heartwarming tribute to Gandhi and his legacy. The Xavierians' performances were both inspiring and educational, and they left a lasting impression on the audience.
