Grains of Hope: A Year-End Gift from Helping Hands

As the final rays of 2023 painted the sky, a spirit of selfless service bloomed at St. Xavier's High School The young hearts of the community service club, brimming with the holiday spirit, embarked on a noble mission – to touch the lives of those less fortunate with the warmth of generosity. Students donated bags laden with rice, lentils, and other essential food grains to the needy.

Echoes of Valor: Xavierians commemorate Veer Baal Diwas

Veer Baal Diwas was commemorated at St. Xavier’s High School. A digital exhibition was set up, and stories recounting the valour of Sahebzadas were narrated, followed by an interactive quiz and integrated activities. Grade V created a wall of appreciation for the sahebazdas to express their gratitude towards the sacrifices they made, and Grade VI prepared promise cards.

" Money is something which everyone accepts in exchange for goods and services". 

Learning by doing motivates the students to step out of their comfort zone, and discover something that enhances their life skills.    Students of Grade 1 enjoyed and at the same time learned how to do petty cash transactions. They enjoyed shopping from the 'Xaverian Stationary' using fake currency. 
In a group of 4 students purchased multiple stationary items and later using addition they calculated the amount and paid money to the shopkeeper. 
Students learned that different coins and paper money have different values. 
They recognized the names and values of different coins and bills used in exchange for goods and services.

Xavierians Visit KidZania for Interactive Learning Experience 

Students recently embarked on a field trip to KidZania, an immersive learning center designed to mimic a real city. This educational adventure was organized to offer a unique opportunity for students to engage in over 60 fun role-play activities, fostering valuable real-world skills through engaging and interactive scenarios.

Anticipation crackled in the air as a gaggle of excited students from St. Xavier's High School, Grades X and XI, embarked on a momentous journey. Their destination: the American Centre, a vibrant hub of knowledge and cultural exchange. This was no ordinary field trip; it was a quest – a quest to explore the vast landscape of career opportunities that awaited them beyond the hallowed halls of their school.

National Pollution Control Day

This day serves as a reminder to raise awareness about the importance of controlling pollution and adopting sustainable practices to safeguard our environment.

Grade 1 students, on this day, wanted to spread this awareness through powerful messages among the people and urge them to protect the environment from pollution and save Mother Earth.

Butterflies and Smiles : A Glimpse into Eco Club's Pollinator Paradise

A flutter of wings, a splash of color, and a chorus of delighted squeals – the Eco Club's pollinator garden was abuzz with excitement as a magnificent butterfly gracefully descended upon its vibrant blooms. The students, their faces beaming with joy, watched in awe as the delicate creature flitted from flower to flower, sipping nectar with its long, slender proboscis.
