" To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." 

As a part of the Project Based Learning, the students of St Xavier's gathered necessary information, learnt new concepts, principles and skills associated with Organic Farming. The second step of the project is inquiry, that involves active participation by the students. Taking the avid learners to a nursery was the prelude to this step. The students framed innovative problems in a context of what is already known and what they are expected to learn. The students got acquainted with variety of plants: Bottle Brush, Croton, Magnolia Champaca, Cestrum Nocturnum, Varieties of Hibiscus, Bonsai & many more.

It was an immersive learning experience for the Xavierian learners who experienced the beauty and innovation behind farming.
